Visit of Group Commander Hazaribag , Brigadier S. Gopikrishnan, Sena Medal to CATC- VII camp of 22 JHAR BN NCC
After taking over the command of NCC Group Headquarters Hazaribag on 23rd Jun 2025,
Brigadier S. Gopikrishnan, Sena Medal, Group Commander of the Hazaribagh Group, made his maiden visit to the CATC- VII camp on 25th june 2025, conducted by 22 Jhar Bn NCC. The visit marked a moment of pride and motivation for the cadets and staff.
On his arrival, the Group Commander was given the Guard of Honour salute by the Special Gaurd of cadets.He reviewed the Gd and felicitates them for their drill and training standards. He was formally introduced to the PI staff, ANOs and Civil Staff.
Brigadier S. Gopikrishnan, Sena Medal delivered an inspiring motivational speech and inspired the cadets to imbibe three commandments for success to cadets involving Physical fitness, Mental strength and Proffesional growth for staying committed and work hard towards their future goals. He also encouraged cadets to continue contributing towards nation building ,through the values of NCC- Unity and Discipline. His words left a positive impact on the cadets. The highlight of the visit was the felicitation of Cdt Shivshankar with a cheque of Rs 29,890/-, for outstanding performance, who would be representing B& J Directorate and India in YEP in Kazakhstan.
The Cdr then inspected the entire camp layout and inspected all areas, including Administrative/ classes area, training areas, cook house and cadets dining mess facilities, medical room setup, training/ration stores and living area of boys, girls and PI / ANO/ Clerical staff. He expressed satisfaction with neatness and well organised camp setup. The Gp Cdr after having lunch, g away spot cash award to head cook.
The visit ended on this high note, leaving the Cadets and staff feeling motivated and to be part of esteemed NCC organisation.
