CADETS ASPIRE FOR MOTIVATION , DESCIPLINE, AND SELF- CONFIDENCE IN NCC TRG CAMP CATC-VIII

The 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-VIII) was successfully conducted at Government Polytechnic College, Hazaribagh, under the aegis of 22 Jharkhand Battalion NCC, Hazaribagh. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from NCC cadets belonging to various institutions.
The camp commenced with an opening ceremony addressed by Lt Colonel Antony Henry, Camp Commandant, who inspired the cadets and emphasized on the values of motivation, discipline, leadership qualities and self-confidence
Throughout the camp duration, cadets followed a well-structured routine beginning with morning physical training (PT) and Yoga sessions aimed at improving physical fitness and mental endurance. The training schedule also included theory and practical classes on key topics such as Map Reading, Health and Hygiene, Drill, Field Craft, and Battle Craft, enabling cadets to gain hands-on experience and learn the basic tenets of military life. Other subjects on Personality and Leadership Development, National Integration and Role of Youth In Nation Building were also incorporated.
The evenings were reserved for sports and recreational activities, fostering team spirit, physical agility ans bonhomie . Cadets actively participated in Tug of War, Volleyball, and cultural events like Dance, Music, and Drama, showcasing their talents and building camaraderie.
The camp not only provided military training but also instilled discipline, unity, and a glimpse into the Army way of life, preparing the cadets to be responsible citizens and future leaders.
In the closing ceremony, the Camp Commandant appreciated the sincere efforts of the Permanent Instructional (P.I.) Staff, Associate NCC Officers (ANO), Girl Cadets Instructor (GCI) and Care Taker Officers (CTO) for the smooth and successful conduct of the camp. The dedication of all staff and the enthusiastic participation of the cadets contributed to making CATC-VIII a resounding success.
